The Forger

The Forger is a graphical frontend to the sourceforge.net file release system. Creating a release with more than one file is not complicated using the interface provided by the sourceforge.net web site, but it requires a list of boring manual steps to upload the files to the FTP server and then use the web interface to create the release. To make this process more straightforward I created The Forger.

The Forger

• provides a platform-independent graphical user interface based on Java/Swing
• streamlines the release process by
  • uploading your files to the FTP server
  • creating the release
  • setting release name, release notes, change log and file properties
  after one mouse click.
